Question: My file type is too big to attached. What can I do to reduce it?
Answer/Root Cause: As of Acrobat 8, there is an option to save PDF files in an “Optimized” fashion, which makes them much smaller. To save an optimized PDF, open the file in Acrobat, and then click File and then Save As. In the box labeled “Save As Type”, select the option labeled Adobe PDF Files, Optimized (*.pdf). Be sure to give your PDF file a new name – we strongly recommend that you keep one copy of the ORIGINAL document, and one copy of the OPTIMIZED document, in case you ever need to use a higher quality version.
Question: My file type is not being recognized by the system.
Answer/Root Cause: The particular file extension you are trying to upload is not supported in this application. There are various ways on how to change files to other file types. For example please see out PDF converter helpguide.
Question: I need to delete my upload, I don’t know how?
Answer/Root Cause: After uploading the file you will see a blue link that says “Delete file”. Simply click that link and the file will be deleted.
Question: When I click the link send by an applicant, it says im not authorized.
Answer/Root Cause: The applicant may have switched their request person with someone new. This would cause the old recommender to not be authorized to enter into the section. You also want to make sure you are using the most up to date verison of whatever browser you are using.
Question: I didn’t receive the link or any email form system for recommendation what can I do?
Answer/Root Cause: It may be in your spam folder, If its not there either we can request the admin to resend you the email.
Question: For some of the Guidance Counselors who are filling out the request section are getting error on the page when they try to submit the section

Question: For the question, how long have you known this student, I was unable to type a valid answer. Anything but a single number character was rejected as invalid answer. Let’s say I put a date 8/26/13, it was not accepted. 2 semesters was not accepted. I typed 2 only and it was accepted.
Answer/Root Cause: The reason you are unable to enter text into that field is because it’s a numeric field and admin may have setup this question in such a way that you can enter only a single digit.
Question: I accidently denied the request what do I do?
Answer/Root Cause: Alert the student so they can resend the recommendation.
Question: I accepted the request, but now I don’t want to do it. What do I do now?
Answer/Root Cause: You will need to contact your School/Organization/Etc and let them know you no longer want to fill out the request form.
Question: I need to get back into the section, how do I do that?
Answer/Root Cause: To go back into the section you will need to go through that email that was sent to you again.
